Leitrim Gaels created their own history as they booked a place in the Leitrim final with a 10-point win over Mohill.
Four first-half goals set the tone as Leitrim Gaels scored a 4-14 to 3-7 victory to book a place in the final. A first-half were Mohill failed to score.
Goals from Stephen Tracey and Garvan Jones, David O’Regan and Aidan Flynn saw Gaels into a 4-10 to no-score half-time lead.

Mohill moved the scoreboard in the second-half playing with the wind. Sean Harkin and a Keith Beirne two-pointer making it 4-10 to three points.
10 minutes Beirne added a point with Jordan Reynolds adding a goal. However, Gaels responded with an Aidan Flynn point to settle their nerves.
Sean Harkin added another Mohill score. Conall Jones responded with a Gaels free.
Jordan Reynolds fired in Mohill second goal 10 minutes from time with Keith Beirne converting a free. However, Gaels led by 12-points. It wasn’t enough as Beirne added the next score on 59 minutes.
Reynolds got his second goal of the day two minutes into injury time but that wasn’t the end of the drama.
Domhnaill Flynn saw straight red in the closing stages as did Conor Quinn for a second yellow.
Leitrim Gaels won out 4-14 to 3-7 to book a first ever senior county final appearance.
