Billy O Loughlin's side were leading by 3 points going into injury time by 2-12 to 15 points with their goals coming from Dessie Reynolds and Pauric Joyce.
owever the late showing of Mc Namee seen him level matters with a goal before kicking the winning point with the last kick of the game. It give the Faithful county there first win of 2022 following an opening round loss to Dublin, with it been Longfords first loss following their win over louth.
