Athlone Town’s Kelly Brady has claimed the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division player-of-the-month for October 2025.
The 23-year-old previously won the award in April and becomes just the 11th player to claim the award twice.
Brady had an outstanding debut season; winning the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division title and the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup.
Brady finished the season as the Golden Boot winner with 19 league goals and also topped the scoring charts in the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup with five goals. Courtesy of a hat-trick in the Final win over Bohemians.
Indeed, the athletic forward has been nominated for the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Player of the Year Award. Whereas, the winner of which will be announced at a ceremony on November 14th.
However, Brady received a different type of award this week by being invited in to train with the Ireland Women’s National Team (WNT).
Indeed. the former Ireland WU19 international was surprised after WNT training on Wednesday afternoon with the news of winning the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division player-of-the-month.
