Ireland were left with work to do after an opening round defeat to England in the Junior World Rugby Championship.
Andrew Browne’s side now have work to do in the coming rounds, losing out 34-27 in in Tbilisi.
Despite racing into a 12–0 lead, Ireland found themselves trailing by 12 points at the break. England registered 24 unanswered points in the first-half.
Noah Byrne and Jack Deegan both crossed the English whitewash in the second-half along with Daniel Ryan who completed his hat-trick of tries.
However, it wasn’t enough as England started their campaign with a seven point win.
Ireland face last year’s semi-finalists Argentina in their next outing on Thursday. They hope to secure a top-two finish in the pool, with a kick off time of 12:30pm Irish time.
