Longford Olympian Darragh Greene is part of a 24 person Irish team for Sette Colli international.
The high-profile meet is the final stage of preparation ahead of this summer’s Commonwealth Games and European Championships.
The Irish team includes Olympic Champion Daniel Wiffen, Olympic bronze medallist Mona McSharry, Olympic finalist Ellen Walshe.
European Champion Danielle Hill, European and World Junior medallist John Shortt and European U23 Champion Ellie McCartney.
“We’re pleased to bring a strong and balanced team to Sette Colli” said Swim Ireland Performance Director Andy Reid.
“This meet is an important part of our preparation phase, giving swimmers the chance to compete in a high-performance environment just weeks out from the Commonwealth Games and European Championships”.
“It’s about fine-tuning, building confidence and ensuring athletes are in the best possible position heading into the championship season.”
The Sette Colli International is regarded as one of Europe’s premier annual meets, consistently attracting Olympic and World Championship medallists.
