Glencar-Manorhamilton had seven points to spare in securing their sixth consecutive title in Leitrim.
Aoife Gilmartin got the opening goal of the game for Glencar-Manor after five minutes. St. Joseph’s drew level on 13 minutes, capitalising having been awarded a number of frees.
Whereas, Kate Gormely found the back of the Glencar-Manor net on 18 minutes as St. Jospehs moved into a one point lead.
The sides continued to trade scores as St. Jospehs looked to be heading to the break with a three point lead.
However, on the stroke of half-time, Muireann Devaney raised the green flag for Glencar-Manor. At half-time the sides were tied on a score line of 2-5 to 1-8.
Muireann Devaney carried her form into the second-half as she registered a goal and a point inside the opening three second-half minutes.
St. Josephs replied with a point but Glencar Manor were proving too much as they kicked the next three points.
However, Glencar-Manorhamilton held out to claim the Senior Leitrim title for the sixth-year-in-a-row and set up a meeting with the Sligo Champions in the Connacht Championship.
