Glencar Manorhamilton ladies defeat St. Joseph's in Leitrim county final

Glencar Manorhamilton completed back to back Leitrim ladies senior A football titles today following a 2-8 to 1-6 victory over St. Joseph’s at Páirc Sheán Ui Heislin.

Glencar Manorhamilton led 1-6 to 0-3 at half-time with Ailbhe Clancy scoring 1-5 for the defending champions while Bronagh O’Rourke accounted for St. Joseph’s entire tally.

Clancy subsequently landed the decisive goal in the second half when she finished to the net with a powerful shot.

Michelle Heslin scored a late consolation goal for St. Joseph’s but it wasn’t enough as Glancar Manorhamilton claimed a second county title in as many years.
