A strong second-half display saw Four Roads claim victory.

Four Roads are Roscommon senior hurling champions for the 35th time ever following a 3-14 to 0-15 victory over Padraig Pearses in the decider at Athleague.

Four Roads trailed 0-10 to 1-6 at half-time before a dominant second-half display saw John Cunniffe’s side run out convincing winners.

Pearses started with urgency and amassed four points during the first nine minutes but 15 minutes later Mikey Lohan reduced the margin to a single point.

Daniel Glynn replied with a point on 54 minutes before Four Roads sealed victory three minutes from time when Mulry added another goal.
