Dublin experience sees them claim All-Ireland title

The celebrations are continuing for Dublin after they claimed their 31st senior all-Ireland title on Sunday with victory over Kerry.

It was a win which saw three of the Dublin side pick up their ninth All-Ireland winning medal.

Having gained promotion back from Division Two at the first time of asking, earlier this year; Dessie Farrells side comfortably made their way through the provincial and All-Ireland group stage. However, the Dubs still entered the final as underdogs to the defending champions.

Former Leitrim player Derek Kelleher told Sportsbeat, the strength and experience from Dublin’s bench was a major factor in victory.
