Clonguish opened their Longford senior championship campaign with a six-point win over St. Mary’s Granard.
Three points from Matthew Flynn and Matthew Carey (1f), plus point from James Hagan and Jordan Martin helped Clonguish into a 10 points to seven half-time lead.
Two points from play from Matthew Flynn and a two point Darren Gallagher free moved the game beyond Granard half-way through the second-half.

Matthew Carey’s point four minutes into injury time sealed the six point win for Clonguish, 21-points to 1-12.
The victory see’s Clonguish open with a victory, while Granard record their first defeat after last week’s win over Colmcille.
