The throw in times for the FBD League have been brought back to 6pm from their initial 8pm throw ins. The New Year games will take place in the Connacht GAA centre of Excellence Air dome with the times been brought forward to conform to the new Covid 19 guidelines. Games will be result on the day with a golden score been introduced if they finish level after 70 minutes. Leitrim and Sligo will get the competition will underway on Tuesday the 4th of January with the winners set to face Roscommon in the semi final. County board chairman for Roscommon is Brian Carroll and he remarked that while it is difficult to plan to far ahead with the pandemic the thought of the return of football will be a comfort to many supporters
