An eight point defeat to Mayo champions Kiltimagh brought an end to the Aughavas Connacht championship journey for this year.
Kiltimagh started more brightly of the two sides hitting six unanswered points. Goalkeeper, Jamie McNicholas struck a 45 along with a two pointer from Paul Kelly.
The Leitrim champions had to wait 19 minutes for their first score through Adrian Short who fired over a two-pointer.
Kiltimagh added another four points, with the only other Aughavas score coming from Adrian Short again with a free. At half-time Kiltimagh led by eight points, 11-point to three.
The sides traded scores early in the second-half through Darren Shortt and Thomas Keegan.
Joey McBrien got a second two-pointer of the contest for Aughavas, as three further points from Kiltimagh helped them to seal the Connacht Junior title.
Kiltimagh running out eight point winners in Carrick on Shannon, 0-16 to eight points.
