A nine point victory over Drumreilly seen them crowned Junior Champions
The first-half was an even contest as both sides traded points and were level on a number of occasions.
The sides traded the lead before a strong first-half finish saw Aughavas take a three point lead into the break.
At half-time Aughavass were leading by three on a score line of 0-8 to 0-5.
The first-half started in dramatic fashion as Adrian Shortt and Nigel Maguire were both show a red card. Whereas, Drumreilly's Ronan McCartin was shown a yellow card.
Moments later Conor Canning raised the green flag for Aughavas as they moved into a six point lead after 33 minutes.
Both sides traded further scores before Joey McBrien scored a two-pointer after 40 minutes, leaving his side seven points ahead.
Drumreilly responded with points from Conor Gaffney and Stephen Meissner. However, Aughavas had their second goal after 51 minutes, Darren Short slotted the ball to the back of the Drumreilly net.
Aughavas held out for the victory, with nine points to spare, claiming the Leitrim junior football title, 2-15 to 0-12.
Aughavas are back in Intermediate Football for 2026 after winning the Fresh Today Junior A Final. Captain Conor Canning was presented the Dick Ellis Memorial Cup by Cathaoirleach Coiste Chontae Liatroma Déaglán Ó Buacháin.
