A long way to Tipperary for Leitrim

Andy Moran couldn’t have asked for a tougher start to life in management.

The 2020 Ulster champions first and the 2020 Munster champions second. Moran has received a rude introduction to inter-county management.

Cavan had too much for Leitrim last time out as they won out 12 points to eight. There were many positive for Leitrim however, the sides were level at half-time.

Cavan didn’t find the Leitrim net and more importantly were never given a chance to.

Moran has the majority of his panel available and may just be catching Tipperary at the right time. They opened their division four campaign with a 10-points apiece draw with Waterford.

Since lifting the Munster championship in November 2020, Tipp have recorded just one win! This may be the time to get them.

However Leitrim last tasted victory before the pandemic on March first 2020! Something has to give, can Andy Moran weave his magic? Time will tell.
