A number of players from the region have been included on the Eirgrid U20 top 20 team of the championship. Having reached the All Ireland final where they lost to Offaly, the Roscommon side have 4 players included with Colin Walsh, Patrick Gavin, Daire Cregg and James Fitzpatrick while Monaghan's appearance in the Ulster final where they lost to Down after extra time as seen Sean Jones been included. All Ireland champions Offaly lead the way with 6 of their panel included, namely Lee Pearson, John Furlong, Cathal Flynn, Cathal Donoghue, Cormac Egan and Jack Bryant. Down have 3 with goalkeeper Charlie Smyth, Tom Smyth and Shealan Johnston. Munster champions Cork also have 3 with Diarmaid Phelan, Jack Cahalane and David Buckley, while Dublin's Rory Dwyer, Tipperarys Sean O'Connor and Ruairi Keane of Mayo completed the 20. Offaly manager Declan Kelly was named as the U20 manager of the year having help lead the Faithful county to the historic title win with Jack Bryant named as the U20 player of the year.
