Kieran McGeeney is to continue as Armagh senior football manager. This year saw the Orchard County finish third in Division One, and they reached the All Ireland quarter-finals where they lost a fiery affair to eventual finalists Galway on penalties. 2023 will be McGeeney’s ninth year in the Armagh hot-seat. Meanwhile the search for management teams in Longford and Roscommon continues. They are just 2 of a number of counties who are looking to find a manager for the 2023 season. While Cavan and Leitrim have confirmed their set up, Monaghan are another team in the Shannonside/Northern Sound region who are looking to replace Seamus Mc Enaney who stepped down early last month. Speaking recently to the station, "Banty" noted that the role of an intercounty manager is similar to running a small business
