Caring for someone who is ill can take a significant emotional tool and this is obviously heightened during Covid-19 as access to usual support systems is reduced due to restrictions.  A death in the family or of a close friend can also be hugely difficult at the best of times, but again the physical distancing that we’re asked to observe means that it can add to the grief and sense of feeling also. Anne Norris was speaking to Senior Clinical Psychologist Padraig Collins from the HSE today about “caring for others and coping with bereavement during this time of Covid-19 restrictions
