Young man to face court following Athlone car break ins

A young man has been arrested following reports of a number cars being broken into in the Athlone area over the last number of days.

The man in his 20s was arrested in the aftermath of the break ins in Coosan near Athlone town.

The accused was detained by Gardaí and has been charged in relation to the offences.

He will appear at Athlone District at the end of the month.
