Works expected to commence soon at local community nursing unit

It's hoped works will begin later this year on the proposed 90 Bed Community Nursing Unit in Carrick on Shannon.
The update was provided at the most recent Western Regional Health Forum Meeting following a question by Local Cllr, Finola Armstrong McGuire.

The development is currently at tender stage with the process being completed over the coming months and approval will then be sought for the award of a public works contract for the project.
It was confirmed that the building works are likely to take 24 months to complete.
