A woman has died following a house fire in west Roscommon.
The blaze broke out in Ballaghaderreen at around 9:30pm on Sunday night in the Priory Park area.
Emergency services, including the local fire brigade from Ballaghaderreen, attended the scene but it's understood the woman died at the scene. Her body has been removed from the scene and a post-mortem is due to take place later today. Initial investigations by Gardai are currently underway as to the cause of the blaze.
