The price of homes in the Shannonside region has increased by up to 10 per cent this year, according to a local auctioneer.
That's higher than the national average.
CSO data shows they increased by 7.3 per cent around the country in the year to October.

Prices are also increasing for rental homes.
New laws banning no-fault evictions will take effect next March, after being announced earlier this year.
