Fr John Gannon is set to become the parish priest of Boyle in Co Roscommon next month. He currently holds the same role in Tulsk and will take over in Boyle on August 15th.
Fr Gerry Hanly is retiring after 28 years in charge of the north Roscommon parish. Former mayor of Boyle, Jane Suffin, is paying tribute to the 75-year-old:
