Speaking to Shannonside FM  at a special cultural exchange event, Veronica says the Irish people have welcomed them with open arms.

She says it's made the stress of the last 4 months easier to deal with:

"I just want to  say thank you so much to all, to everyone and all the Irish people for helping us  and for your support, we are really feeling this so much and we are happy to be here and you have  a wonderful country."
