Tributes paid to well known Co. Roscommon businessman

Tributes have been paid to a well-known county Roscommon businessman following his death. John Greenan passed away on Monday following an illness. He was the proprietor of Greenan Electrical, previously located on Boyle's Main Street and ran a successful hackney business too.

Local club Boyle Celtic paid tribute to the late Mr Greenan with a poignant social media post, saying that "he gave decades of volunteerism" to the club. His funeral mass will take place on Thursday in St. Joseph’s Church in Boyle at 11am.
