Tributes are today being paid to popular chef, Joe Shannon, who passed away yesterday. Joe was a presenter with Ocean FM and provided contributions to Shannonside FM over a number of years.
He was also well known within the region for being a campaigner for cancer charities. Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show in 2022, Joe urged people not to delay in getting their health checked:
