Investigations are ongoing following a serious road collision in Longford.
The incident occurred on the N4 in Edgeworthstown shortly after 8:15pm on Saturday May 7th.
It's understood a car collided with a female pedestrian who's aged in her teens.

Emergency services attended the scene and the young girl was taken to Mullingar Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or those with camera footage including dash cam to come forward.
