Two girls who were reported missing from their home in Carlow earlier this week have been found safe and well.
Gardai had issued an appeal for information on Helen McDonnell, 14 years, and Melissa McDonnell, 13 years, who went missing from Killeshin Road, Carlow on Monday evening 19th July.
Gardai believed the girls may have been in the Athlone or Longford town areas and it has been confirmed that both have been found safe and well this morning.
