The owner of Shannon's Bar in Tarmonbarry says he was hugely disappointed to get the news yesterday that he wouldn't be able to re-open his doors next week.
Stephen Coy says he had just stocked up again like many other pubs around the country and was taken completely by surprise with yesterday's decision.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, he says publicans with premises that don't service food are feeling discriminated against, and aren't even being given the chance to show they could operate safely.
