A Longford Councillor has called on the local authority to invite King Charles for a visit to the county.
Fine Gael's Paul Ross brought a motion forward to today's Longford County Council meeting.
King Charles is set to visit Ireland next year after an invitation was extended to him last month by President Catherine Connolly.
