With accommodation prices rising, students are reporting serious financial difficulties to stay in college.

St Vincent de Paul says the system providing financial support to students is “clearly broken”.

It’s after University College Cork’s student food bank was emptied less than an hour after opening.

St Vincent de Paul has reinstated its partnership with the students union today, to assist them in meeting demands.
