Longford auctioneer Fintan McGill says there's been strong interest so far in the Greyhound Stadium in Longford and he expects a deal to be done sooner rather than later.
The 7 acre site n Longford town has been put on the market by its owner after the stadium closed its doors in March.
The asking price for the prime location €750,000.

The site is currently zoned as Sporting and Recreational but Fintan McGill says he believes developers may take it on with a view to trying to get the land rezoned for other purposes.
He says he believes the eventual buyers could be quite local…
