Health officials are registering significant concern over the number of positive Covid cases and close contacts throughout a number of age groups within the minor club and the town itself.

Strokestown GAA executives plan to review the issue over the coming days in cooperation with the HSE.

According to Club management, they've taken the decision in order to protect local schools and the return of students to the classroom over the next few weeks.
