Serious concerns are being raised about plans for a new one-way system in Boyle.
There are fears it would increase traffic outside schools.
Roscommon County Council is putting together a Local Transport Plan for Boyle.
A draft version was published in April and the council asked for feedback from the public, and they got 11 submissions.
In his submission, former Boyle postmaster Paul Forde expresses concern about traffic changes planned.
The council wants to make more of the town one-way - and they've presented two options.
Both propose a one-way system for Military Road, Main Street, Shop Street and Carrick.
But the second option also involves making Bridge Street one-way.
Paul says this is unnecessary:
Councillors in the Boyle Municipal District will discuss whether to give the plan the go-ahead at their meeting on Wednesday.
