A one-day seminar about the Irish Civil War is being held at the Roscommon County Library today.
This seminar entitled 'Roscommon in the New State' will focus on aspects of Roscommon's involvement in the Irish State's foundational years.
Among the speakers are Damien Quinn of Military History Ireland, Athlone writer John Burke, and University of Sheffield lecturer Martin O'Donoghue.
