Several sub aqua volunteers will converge on Athlone once again this weekend as an extensive river search continues for a missing man.
54 year old Sean Spellman left his home in Taughmaconnell on the 16th of January and travelled to Athlone.
He hasn't been seen since but CCTV footage shows him walking on Grace Road in the town around six o' clock on the Saturday evening.

The garda underwater unit has carried out searches in the Shannon and they've bene joined by members from the Athlone sub aqua club and others in the region over the past week.
James Donlon from the Athlone club says most of their members have work during the week and they'll have an increase in numbers to help the search during the weekend.
