The EPA says there is concern about people drinking water with higher than recommended levels of THM's.

Concerns over chemical levels in some Longford and Roscommon water supplies

Irish Water had previously installed treatments in Longford Central, Ballymahon, and the North East Regional supply in Roscommon which failed to rectify elevated THM levels.
