It's been claimed that Roscommon County Council is sending released prisoners to other parts of the country following their release.
Aontú Deputy Paul Lawless made the remarks during a motion on the EU Directive on Combating Firearms Trafficking.
Speaking in the Dáil, he expressed concern over the lack of rehabilitation structures given.

The Mayo TD says his county is being left by Roscommon's local authority to accommodate those released:
