Roscommon pharmacist asks public to be patient with vaccine roll out

The national vaccination effort ramps up today with around 750 pharmacies providing coronavirus jabs to people aged 18 to 34.

Young people aged 18-34 have started receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine in pharmacies nationwide.

There's been a massive demand for the one shot injection since the Government announced it would be available from today.

A Roscommon pharmacist is asking the public to be patient with the delivery of jabs through high-street locations

Ollie McGuiness told the Joe Finnegan show that they already have a waiting list of over 200 people for the vaccines since it was announced by the Minister last Friday.

He says supply can't meet demand just yet:
