A motorist in Roscommon is to face court after an arrest for drug driving over the weekend. Roscommon Road Policing Unit were on patrol in Clonark in the county when they were alerted that a car had no NCT.
The NCT had been out on the car for a year according to local Gardaí. During the traffic stop, local Gardaí also conducted a roadside drugs test on the motorist, leading to them testing positive for cannabis. The individual was arrested and their car was seized.
