Roscommon Gardaí seek witnesses following overnight theft of caravan

Gardaí in Roscommon are appealing for the public's help following the theft of a caravan from a property in Elphin overnight.

A white Bailey Ranger caravan was taken from a shed near the village in the early hours of this morning.

Local CCTV footage spotted the 06 registered caravan travelling through Elphin Village and later through Strokestown at approximately 3am.

Garda investigating the incident are appealing for anyone with CCTV cameras or dash cams to review their footage over the past 15 hours in an effort to further track the movement of the caravan.

The caravan had been purchased 3 weeks ago according to the owner with plans for it to be used for a family holiday over the coming weeks:
