Roscommon County Council have lodged a planning application for the construction of a new residential development in Elphin.
The Part 8 application calls for the construction of 10 residential units on Windmill Road in the town.
The units would comprise of 6 two bed two storey houses, 2 two bed bungalows and 2 three bed homes.

Also included in the application is the provision of footpaths, car parking spaces and green areas in the development.
Public consultation is open on the plans until the end of October.
Leitrim Councillors will decide on the project in November.
