Rain warning issued for the region as Storm Amy approaches

A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for 14 counties tomorrow as Storm Amy is forecast to hit the country. It'll be in effect in Munster, Connacht, Cavan Donegal and Longford from 6am tomorrow morning until 8pm.

Met Eireann is warning of the possibility of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions. The forecaster says updates will be issued as certainty increases.
