Public appeal to rehome abandoned kittens in Longford

Longford ISPCA are appealing to members of the public to consider adopting a kitten following an animal welfare incident this week.

Five cats were found dumped in a cage at the entrance to the National Animal Centre near Keenagh village.

The kittens were left in a vulnerable condition but have since fully recuperated.

Trish Spargo of Longford ISPCA says pet owners should be aware of their responsibilities and hopes new homes can be found for Adele, Gavin, Tiffany, Austin and Dylan.
