Proceedings halted over two former British soldiers accused of three killings

The family of one of those that were killed is critical of the decision to halt proceedings.

The prosecution of two former British soldiers over three killings during the Troubles have been halted.

Soldier F was being prosecuted for the murder of James Wray and William Mc Kinney in Derry on Bloody Sunday in 1972, when the military opened fire on a civil rights protest.

Soldier B was facing action for the murder of 15-year-old Daniel Hegarty in the city six months later.

His family's solicitor, Ciaran Shiels said he is critical of today's decision.
