Longford Circuit Court sittings, which were due to be held this week, have been deferred for a fortnight after a positive test was returned by someone who attended last week's sitting in Mullingar.
The courts service has confirmed that after an attendee in Court last Tuesday subsequently tested positive and all close contact, which includes courts staff, barristers solicitors, and the judge, must now isolate for a period of 14 days
The period of isolation is due to end on the 3rd of February when a number of matters have been re-listed for hearing
Matters held over from this week's adjourned session are due to be rescheduled for the 17th of February.
