A park in Roscommon is to host a celebration of heritage and positive aging next month.
Strokestown Park has announced its first Autumn Fête on the 1st of October from 12 pm to 5 pm.
The event is part of the Cultural Companions Programme, which is supported by Creative Ireland.

The celebrations are also coinciding with the United Nations' International Day of Older Persons and Positive Aging Week 2023.
The Autumn Fête aims to embrace the spirit of aging through a variety of activities and handmade foods.
