Plans have been lodged for the extension of a busy Athlone Coffee Shop.
MBCC Foods Ireland Ltd are seeking permission to expand the Costa Coffee on the Ballymahon Road outside the town.
Plans submitted to Westmeath County Council include the construction of a new seating area to the west of the shop, external signage and internal alterations to include new toilets and an extended bin storage.

County planners will decide on the application in August.
