Roscommon County Council is seeking Part 8 planning permission for road improvement works in the county town.
The local authority has submitted a planning application for the works on the L7055 Road Enhancement Scheme in Roscommon Town.
The plans call for site clearance works along with fencing, boundary treatment work, drainage and pavement works.

Also included in the council's planning application is the provision of traffic signs, road markings, kerbs, street lighting and utility diversions on the stretch of the L7055.
Local councillors will debate the application at the June meeting of the Roscommon County Council.
