Planning lodged for major development of stable facilities at Roscommon Racecourse

Roscommon Racecourse is seeking planning permission for a major development of their stable facilities.

An application lodged by Roscommon Racecourse Ltd is seeking permission to demolish 2 existing stables on site at Carrownabrickna .

Under plans submitted to Roscommon County Council, 31 new stables would be constructed on the site with a concrete yard and holding area included.

Also featured in the application is a vets building adjacent to the project that includes two sampling stables and a central observation area.

County planners will decide on the proposal in January.
