The premises was one of the locations permanently closed earlier this year when the Bank left the Irish Market.

Ulster Bank Ireland have granted planning permission for works at its now closed premises in Roscommon town. The premises was one of the locations permanently closed earlier this year when the Bank left the Irish Market. The works involve the removal of Ulster Bank lettering on the front of the building as well as other related signage.

The bank is also seeking permission to carry out works in order to remove the existing ATM, night safe and letter box to be replaced with stone to match the existing building. Internal works to remove ATMs, furniture and merchandise are also included as part of the application. Roscommon county planners have granted the permission with four conditions attached.
